Snuggling the coast of Silhouette Island, a mere minutes stroll from Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa lies the historic Village of La Passe. Established in the first half of the 19th century by the Dauban family, legend dictates that it was bought for a violin. Today its modest population of 135 inhabitants is involved in environmentally sustainable conservation of the island.
Today, the original Dauban plantation house has been restored, housing a restaurant serving sumptuous Creole specialities.
